So J. is in town, and we just got back from Bali.  I'd actually done a huge post about the disturbing incident of the Monkey Forest, but all was lost due to an ill-placed key press, and I'm not over my loss enough to try writing it all out again.  But I will!

Sorry to barge in on you all while you are hard at work   This is a friendly notice to let you know that my band (king mixer), which is basically me, and three guys you don’t know, is playing at Iota on August 21st at 8:00 PM. We will be opening for Adam Franklin (former swervedriver front man), who is doing a solo acoustic jaunt down the east coast in preparation for the release of a new CD with his current band, Toshack Highway.   Attached is a flier for the show with address and other relevant information.   Yeah it’s a Sunday night but the doors open at 7:00 and we’ll be on at 8:00 so it should be an early night.  Adam is definitely worth the price of admission I hope to see you there.   Danny
