Heh...
Something very comical happened recently. I have a 11x14" framed picture temporarily sitting on my desk, propped up against the wall. Anyway, my cat likes to sit on my desk and watch while I'm typing on the computer. So this one time, she was doing that, except she leaned against the picture which fell right on her! It didn't hurt her -- not that heavy -- but she bolted!
Anyway, I propped it back up, and soon she came back up on the desk. And sure enough, it fell on her again, and again she took off like a rocket! I propped it up, and a third time she came back, and again it fell on her, and again she bolted! The fun could've lasted all night, but at this point I realized it was probably better just to leave the picture lying down.

Wow, so you decided to get another kitty! I was wondering if you would do that since Gomez was such a big part of your life....You should have told me you were going to get another...we now have three! We could spare one! :o)
Don't get any ideas, Alley hates other cats! I had been thinking about getting another cat for a while, but wasn't really ready to do anything about it, but Alley came to me more or less by happenstance. She's kind of the opposite of the eternally-mellow Gomez, but she's great company!
I liked Gomez. He was one cool Cat! But I am sure Alley is cool in her own little way too. Enjoy life being owned by a cat once again! :o)
